“American Idol” is kicking off its twenty third season with a bang.
Throughout Sunday’s episode of the singing competitors present, judges Lionel Richie, Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan have been left almost speechless after contestant Sophie Powers – a 20-year-old from Toronto – performed an original song referred to as “STFU.”
Earlier than Powers entered the audition room, Underwood – who received “Idol” in 2005 and has returned to the show 20 years later as a choose – spoke about her hopes for the twenty third season.

Whereas the judges have been visibly confused, Powers requested Richie how he was feeling.

“My spouse will play me that music each night,” Bryan joked. “You need to’ve put ‘Luke, shut the f— up.’”

With three “No’s”, Powers thanked the judges earlier than leaving the room.
